Challenge: Create the film: In Our Hands Solution: Working with Robert Richter, Neal Marshad was one of the cinematographers for this feature-length documentary which celebrates the largest peace demonstration in history: New York City, June 12, 1982 – one million people speaking with one voice. This theatrically distributed film features James Taylor, Pete Seeger, Carly Simon, Peter, Paul & Mary, Jerry Stiller, Orson Welles, Bob Balaban, and Meryl Streep. Robert Richter is the last member of the famed Edward R. Murrow-Fred Friendly CBS Reports unit still actively producing documentaries.
