Challenge: Produce several TV specials in association with the world-renowned Improv comedy club franchise. Solution: During a two-year period Marshad film crews traveled to 10 U.S. cities documenting the auditions of thousands of would-be comics. (There were a lot of laughs in the Marshad editing room.) Result: Some highly original and entertaining film footage that included first-time appearances by Steve Harvey, Brian Kiley, Judd Apatow, Ellen Cleghorne, and Ray Romano.
