Challenge:
The most deluxe of the high end of skin care treatments, La Prairie teamed with Marshad Technology Group to provide strategy, design, programming, technology, security, analytics, search engine optimization, translation and localization, and management of the LaPrairie.com e-commerce website starting with its inception in 1995.
Solution:
Marshad Technology Group designed and created the visual treatment and information architecture for this award winning site. The site is now in seven languages and Marshad Technology Group worked directly with La Prairie's local market managers in China, Korea, Japan, Germany, Spain, France and the United States. Marshad provisioned 24/7/365 site management to La Prairie for over 11 years.
Result:
LaPrairie.com was awarded a Standard of Excellence WebAward in the 2001 WebAward Web Site Competition, organized by the Web Marketing Association, Inc. (WMA). Fashion.net describes the site as: "Visually compelling and filled with useful information, the most exciting content available on the web." LaPrairie.com was also selected to receive the Best Shopping Site Award for 1999.
