Client: Vanderbilt Communications
Challenge: Produce a virtual reality, internet experience, for this popular travel destination website, that would promote Vermont tourism.
Solution: After extensive scouting of Vermont locations, Marshad set up his tripod 4,000 feet at the top of Mt. Equinox to shoot the 14 images required to create a seamless 360 degree panoramic QuickTime Virtual Reality view. After processing, dicing and stitching, the virtual reality environment was embedded into an HTML page for use on
the manchestervermont.com website.
Result: As visitors move their mouse cursor across the picture, new mountain views and vistas appear that could never be seen in a single, fixed still image. Click the image, above, and join us on top of the mountain.
