| Client:
Estée Lauder Companies, Inc.
Challenge: Surely one of the world's premier cosmetic companies, Lauder needed live Web teleconferencing facilities, and a multiple language website, to dramatize a new product launch for European journalists in Spain.
Solution:
This was Estée Lauder's first use of the Internet. Employing a CuSeeMe reflector, and NT server connected to the web via a T1 line, Marshad used a broadcast-quality Ikegami camera to capture images in the New York studio while establishing a two-way connection with the audience in Madrid.
Result:
Fashion press journalists at a cybercafé in Madrid could see, hear and speak with the on-camera talent in New York. The product, Fruition Extra, has become one of Estée Lauder most successful anti-aging skin treatments.
