Marshad Technology Group Web Hosting Solution provides redundant 45 megabit-per-second connection connections with multiple suppliers to the Internet. The Web Hosting Solution utilizes ATT/CerfNet, Quest, BBN/GTE and UUNET, meaning there are no network delays between Marshad Technology Group servers and the web. Less than 30% of the capacity of these lines is in use even during peak times. The Web Hosting Solution also provides redundancy, so if one of these major carriers experiences a problem, data packets are automatically re-routed to another other carrier. Web pages travel in packets or chunks and they are then re-assembled in your browser for viewing. While travelling from the server to your desktop, data is routed circuitously through many routers and servers in its path. Finally, we have implemented "shortest path routing" which means packets are routed to the carrier with the fewest number of "hops" to whoever is browsing your pages.

The Web Hosting Solution has high speed Sun Microsystems E450 servers with 4 or more processors and at least 1 gig of RAM, RAID 5 storage with hot swappable hard drives and power supplies. Our Windows and Linux servers run on high quality Intel machines. The load on all machines is regularly monitored and new ones are added as required.
